Travel Nurse

We have an exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses who are looking for an adventure to work in a completely different environment in the northwest territories, Nunavut. We are looking for travel nurses who are compassionate and who can work independently with excellent assessment skills. 

The successful candidate is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision.

Knowledge, training and/or/experience required to do the job: 

1. A minimum 2-year experience working as a Mental Health

Nurse, ER and Community Nurse, or experience working in

clinics.

2. Excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative.

3. Have the ability to work with people and  knows how to respect cultural differences.

4. Have an effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Have the ability to coordinate and supervise, where appropriate, the work of other staff within the ward or department to promote best practice in relation to patient care.
